Replying to myself from a while ago, so I don't have to type out the scenario again. I'm having a heck of a time even trying to do this scenario - either the cashier is completely confused by the autodeducting "free Speed Stick" PQ, or I haven't been allowed to use the free Speed Stick PQ together with the $1/1 Kotex PQ ("since you have to buy the Kotex in order to get the Speed stick free, that coupon applies to both items" ). Worst of all, the shelves are mostly empty of the $1.49 Kotex, and I'm not sure why - there are a lot of elements to this scenario, so I can't imagine every couponer is doing it in every store I go to. Is there some other great Kotex deal I'm unaware of?

I don't know of any other Kotex deal, but just the $1/1 PQ makes them a good filler if you're looking to round out $25 or $30 for a $/$$, and when you throw in a Speedstick and use the freebie q, $.49 for both is a decent deal (assuming of course you are allowed to use both, which apparently you are having problems with...I'm sorry!). I've managed to get a few, but stores here have been pretty well wiped clean of the Kotex ever since that PQ came out.

I actually had a far easier time finding $1.07 Carefree when that $2 PQ was out - I can see shelves being cleared of a mm, but for it to be so hard to find something that's just a cheap filler is odd! Oh well, still a week or so before the PQ expires, maybe I can stop stalking stores for Kotex soon

ETA: By the way, not to beat a dead horse on this scenario, but if I ever do find any Kotex, I'm tempted to throw a B1G1 Speed Stick MQ from yesterday's SS into the mix just to really confuse things - I'm not even sure how that would fit into the scenario:

-Buy one Kotex, get one Speed Stick free with the PQ, get another free with the MQ?
-Buy one Kotex, get one Speed Stick free with the PQ, and buy a second Speed Stick in order to get a third one free with the MQ?
-Or, buy one Kotex, get one Speed Stick "free" twice (by stacking the PQ and MQ)?

I don't think I would even put myself through the headache of trying any of these, but it's entertaining to ponder it as a theoretical (to me, at least )
