The Publix Thread is a group of Publix peeps who are a wonderful collection of couponers utilizing this thread to share ideas, sales, coupon combinations and fabulous finds.

Just A Few Notes:

* This thread will be updated and maintained regularly by multiple users.

* This is a group effort.

* Please no ethical discussions or debates (i.e. food stamps, world peace, etc.) Take this to the Lounge if you feel that strongly about it

* Try to stay on topic as much as possible.

* Take conversations regarding specific area competitors (Kroger, Winn Dixie, SweetBay, Food Lion, etc) to Chat.

* No public bashing or humiliation.

* If your discussion gets too individual store specific, please take the chat to a PM or the Publix Chat Thread Here

Remember, we don't get paid to be here. We are here because we want to be. People do make mistakes. If a mistake is made by a poster, point it out gently and move on. If you can do it in a PM, all the better.

You can go to the post office and perhaps there were lots placed in PO boxes and people discard them- that happens a lot in the tampa bay area. Check all the garbage cans Wink
On a side note, I was checking the trash at our post office for JCP q's the beginning of last year. Now they have a locking trash can Smilie seriously, Frown

OMG!!! I got a 5/30!!! For Greenville, SC area peeps it's in the ShopLocal free delivery that came out this morning. There's a Publix Viva Italia ad on heavy cardstock, and the 5/30 is on the back. Specifically says "good at all locations". I've not had one of these in over 6 months Whee
Also found in Post and Courier, Charleston SC paper for home delivery. bounce

Looked at Publix for store bought papers, not found in the store bought. shake head (Maybe just because I looked at Publix, but perhaps all store bought papers were left off the coupon list.)

Over the past couple of weeks, there have been $.50/1 Softsoap peelies all over the 7.5oz Softsoap hand pumps at two Publixes near me - soon to be free soap in the LOD! Though strangely enough, in peeking at the peelies, some of them are good on 7.5oz+ bottles and some are for 8oz+ even though they're stuck to the 7.5oz bottles Confused. I imagine they'd accept the peelie anyway, since they're the ones who stuck it on the product, but to avoid any headaches, if you see any soap with peelies, be sure you're buying the soap with the correct peelie stuck to it!

If any of you are having issues finding empty shelves at Wags for Got2be products. Check the clearance at Publix . I found the hair spray on clearance for $2.49, so .51 cents overage Whee

I am still here in the snowy Midwest. I do have to say it was pretty cool to wake up this morning and see the beautiful heavy white snow falling from the sky - - - but putting 5 layers of clothes on to go outside is getting old! I just finished cleaning salt stains off my black shoes!!

Since it is Valentine's Day, why don't we have a Publix deal on some yummy chocolate . . . low calorie chocolate at that!

Have you tried Skinny Cow chocolates? I am a HUGE fan of their dreamy clusters. I swear they are to die for. They come in 100 calorie packets in either milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Each box is $3.99 at Publix. They are located in the candy aisle near the Godiva Chocolate Bags & Bars. There is a bricks BOGO coupon and a Target $3/2 coupon so when you combine them it is .50 a box! Such a deal.

To review: Buy 2 boxes of Skinny Cow at $3.99 each = $8.00
- $4.00 BOGO MQ coupon
- $3.00 TQ = .99 or
.49 a box!

They also have a chocolate wafer box that DH loves so that is another option too!

Target: $3/2 Skinny Cow (Expires 2-25-12). Regulars peeps PM me if you can't find it.

The Hall's are on sale in the new ad. There was a tearpad with $1/2 bags of sugar free cough drops (25 ct. or larger) exp. 3/31/12 The tearpad was on the basket they had set up with the Hall's in it...probably getting ready for the sale.

Don't know if they are included but a good price if they are.

We should be seeing a new display soon. It's called Live a One List Life, and on it will be tearpads for a free rotisserie chicken wyb 4 select P&G products. Expires 2/29. Included products are: Tide 50 oz, Downy 62-77 oz, Cascade Complete 75 oz, Cascade Action Pac 26-32 ct, Bounty 6 Big Roll, Iams 6.1-7 lb, Pampers Jumbo or pants 19-42 ct, Charmin 12 double or 6 mega roll, Always Infinity 28-36 ct, Tampax Pearl 36-40 ct, and Pantene 25.4 oz. Probably won't be much of a deal, but if you're buying this anyway, may as well get a chicken!

The $5/30 Publix coupon that has been reported was in the home delivery of the Florida Today today. I haven't checked the store papers but last time they did this it wasn't in the papers at the store.

Has any Atlanta Peep found the coupon? I need to put DH on the trail to find it with specific directions if it is there. Needless to say, he is not going to look for it because it "might" be there Big Grin TIA
