Welcome Welcome to the Publix Thread!!
The BEST Grocery Store Thread on SD!!

The Publix Thread is a group of Publix peeps who are a wonderful collection of couponers utilizing this thread to share ideas, sales, coupon combinations and fabulous finds.

Just A Few Notes:

* This thread will be updated and maintained regularly by multiple users.

* This is a group effort.

* Please no ethical discussions or debates (i.e. food stamps, world peace, etc.) Take this to the Lounge if you feel that strongly about it

* Try to stay on topic as much as possible.

* Take conversations regarding specific area competitors (Kroger, Winn Dixie, SweetBay, Food Lion, etc) to Chat.

* No public bashing or humiliation.

* If your discussion gets too individual store specific, please take the chat to a PM or the Publix Chat Thread Here

Remember, we don't get paid to be here. We are here because we want to be. People do make mistakes. If a mistake is made by a poster, point it out gently and move on. If you can do it in a PM, all the better.

Use the Wiki, it is your friend and has a wealth of information.

Reps are back...for now. Stick Out Tongue I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.
Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too.

I need some help!
Just came back from shopping, and tried using the $5.00 off 30.00 coupon that was available as PDF from some military - on - line - newspaper a while back. It did not come up as valid when they put in the numbers. LU# 11437. "Good thing you live so close to Publix."
The manager grilled me about where I got it from, web-site, to research if it is legitimate.
Now I can't find the link anymore to point him to the web site. I just saved the PDF.
Anybody know the name of the paper or magazine? Still has the link to the page?
Thanks

$1/1 Scrubbing Bubbles All Purpose Cleaner with Fantastik Or Total Kitchen Foaming All Purpose Cleaner, Any (Cannot Be Combined With Any Other Coupon) - Good Housekeeping, October 2012 (exp 11/15/2012) **if included
$.75/1 Scrubbing Bubbles All Purpose Cleaner with Fantastik, Any - 9/23/12 SS Insert (exp 11/4/2012)
$1/2 Scrubbing Bubbles All Purpose Cleaner with Fantastik, Any - 9/23/12 SS Insert (exp 11/4/2012)
$.50/1 Scrubbing Bubbles All Purpose Cleaner With Fantastik, Any -printable [Coupons.com]**if included
$1.75/2 Scrubbing Bubbles All-Purpose Cleaners with Fantastik, any (Publix Coupon) - One Stop One Store Booklet**if included
I couldn't tell til I saw the ad (I'm visual that way like JD I guess), but it looks to me like all of these coupons should be a match for the Fantastik that's on sale. That would make it Dealz & Stealz worthy at 2/$0.25 after coupons.

Technically, the "$2.00 off 2 Scrubbing Bubbles cleaning products" PQ ought to work as well, if you go by the wording (though the picture shows spray cans of Scrubbing Bubbles, not Fantastik), since Fantastik is now a "Scrubbing Bubbles product". That would make everything free - if it's worth the extra quarter to you, to try to explain this rationale to your cashier.

They changed the coupon online. It now reads that you can't print it for use (or something like that).

Hmm, from tn's "Publix Sneak Peek, Aug 30-Sept 5 (or Aug 29-Sept 4 in some areas)":
Breyer's Ice Cream or Blasts! Frozen Dairy Dessert, 48 oz carton, save up to 5.59

And from tn's current ad:
Breyers Ice Cream or Blasts! Frozen Dairy Dessert, 48 oz carton, save up to 4.99

Has Publix actually lowered the price? Last I checked Breyer's was always $5.99 here, but I checked and even IHP's Atlanta ad has it as BOGO $4.99 this coming week.

My Birmingham ad has it BOGO for 6.11 Frown

Usually it is 5.99 shelf price in the store, though.

It's a shame people are being hassled about this but the coupon doesn't work everywhere.

This is the EXACT text you get when you subscribe to the magazine, unedited, and note you can subscribe to it regardless of ANYWHERE you live in the USA.

I had been using the coupon at my "friendly" store. The LU# never worked but they would always manually enter...until today. Today the AM was called over since cashier recalled a do not accept notice for this PQ. AM confirmed that they had JUST received a memo from corporate to no longer accept this. The words "fraudulent coupon" were used which really irks me since this is/was a legit PQ.

I have the links saved on my iPad but that was of course in the car cuz it was rainy. After transaction, I did go to car and showed them where I obtained the coupon from to hopefully avoid being tagged as one of those "problematic customers".

It actually worked to my benefit today. I was stacking a SB $10/$50 with this $5/30 PQ on a $100 order. Since I was denied PQ, I asked if they would prefer me to void off half my order so that I could use another SB $10/50 on separate trans. (Dh was with me) They happily agreed just to take another $10/50 as to not have to void.

Ok sorry for all the chatty! Did find the new October Pharmacy flyer titled "Women's Health" with the following PQ's that all exp 10/31/12:

$2/1 Any Citracal product
$5/2 Any Centrum, Caltrate, or ProNutrients products
$1/1 Nature's Bounty Vitamin
