Nice price... already have a SUB-12 but it is very tempting to go to a 7.2 setup....... I wish some of the nice RF floor speakers would go on sale now.

Argh. So tempting but I know nothing about it! Wish I had more time to research and compare subs.

I was looking at this Klipsch and a 12" BIC waiting for them to go on sale. But instead I ended up ordering 2 of these Dayton 12" subwoofers at Parts Express yesterday for $99 + $15s/h each! That price still seems valid today. I was very skeptical given the price at first, but the reviews on Parts Express, Amazon, and the AVS forum are extremely positive! Hopefully I won't be let down, but wanted to let others know about it!

Might want to check with WW stereo they are giving RF-42 Series II to people who received damaged JBL 190's in the last sale.

I have the Dayton 12 and it is pretty good for HT, but for music it is just okay, it is a lttle sluggish for that. I have not looked at the Klipsch that much but it sounds like the BIC may be better musically then the Dayton Audio subwoofer.

This is one of the 5 reviews on amazon you decided to buy off of, it sounds like super solid info...

I purchased two of these originally to replace two aging BIC subwoofers ( V1200 & V1210R). After receiving them I swapped the factory Dayton amps with a pair of their SA240(240 watts @ 4ohms with 24 db/octave xover)subwoofer amps. They made a huge difference in the sound performance of these powered subs. I also replaced the factory subwoofer speakers for two Infinity Reference 1250W subwoofers. I also added 1.5 lbs of polyfill stuffing in each enclosure. Now, I must say this was a much needed improvement over factory. I've enjoyed my new subs so much, that I've just recently placed another order for two more SUB120's powered subs. I will be upgrading the amps and speakers soon. Currently, I have an 12 speaker home theater system. One good feature on both the factory sub120 amp and the Dayton SA240 amps is they have both input and output jacks so you can run a chain of powered subs. Which is what I'm doing. I have a total of 5 powered subs along with 7 other speakers in my system (Front L/R, Cntr, Surround L/R and Rear Surround L/R + 5 LFE powered Subwoofers).

In for one to match the VF-35s I got on here a few months back. It'll replace the 150W RMS Boston Acoustic HPS10SE that couldn't keep up at higher volumes.

+1 on they need to bring back some good RF deals.
