Says you need the desktop version in able to use it. Any good deals for the desktop version ($60)?
When I bought it, there was an option to get a second license and gift it to someone else for an extra $10. I'd say do that and split it is the best option. I gave mine away as a gift to someone struggling with building their own budget from scratch, but a 50/50 split would be an option.
Also, I can say that I have been using YNAB since last summer and I love it. I was skeptical of the relatively high price for a piece of software, but I gave the free trial a spin and I've gotta say, it just works. If you are interested in getting on track it's an excellent tool. I had the discipline to budget, the interest in budgeting, and the software gave me a great interface for setting everything up and tracking.
