Got both of mine here in socal as well. Ran a quick dead pixel test from Here [gdargaud.net]. So far everything perfect!

Got mine in SoCal too! Everything perfect here too after making an obscure change in the settings (recommended here [amazon.com]). I have it connected to my pc via hdmi, and you could tell that the picture was a little off (text blurry etc.). On this 23" model the instructions are a tad different from the Amazon review, but basically you just:

1. Make sure it's connected to hdmi 1 (dvi)
2. Hit source on the remote
3. Scroll to hdmi1/dvi
4. Then select tools on the remote
5. Edit name>scroll down to PC>hit enter

That fixed the aforementioned text bluriness issues. The other thing I did was go to menu>picture>picture options>hdmi black level>change it to low. That made the blacks darker & seemed to improve the overall picture quality!

p.s. out of the box, it was thinner and MUCH lighter than I expected

Thanks! I just put it into movie mode earlier but I think this is better.

Finally took it out of the box. There were some scuffs on the front bezel. A bit annoying. The remote also has these white etch marks on the hard plastic that doesn't come off. Who knows how it got there. It's been through some rough handling at some point. sigh.

That is annoying. The ebay description says there may be "light use" if anything, but that sounds more like "Good" as opposed to "Like New" or "Very Good" in amazon lingo. Most of my unit still had the plastic on it so I guess YMMV.

Palyriot (employee there) was going the extra mile on this thread earlier, so you might be able to swap it out if it's worth it.

Can someone that's received this confirm whether it has a quam tuner? Can I get HD programming by going from coaxial direct to the TV?

Ordered mine on Thursday (2/16), received it yesterday (Saturday 2/18)--I was expecting it to probably show up in about a week, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that it was gonna arrive in 2 days. Everything looks good so far--no scratches/blemishes/dead or stuck pixels.

I got my 26 inch vizio yesterday! Didn't have time to plug it in and make sure it's working until today. OMG, this thing is like a brand new TV. Everything, except for the box (which was the manufacturer box) and the batteries for the remote looked brand new.

Supposedly, it was supposed to come with a wall mount, but I don't mind that it didn't. This fits perfectly in my entertainment center, underneath the 50 inch tv. Now I can multitask without issues! Even though I could've gotten that brand new 25 inch Hanspree from Staples for much cheaper, I think I'm happier with an actual TV, in case I decide to move this into another room like the Kitchen to use as a TV...LOL.

What I do know is this company is going to be marked as one of my favorites.
