Still no response from the "Daily Steals new & improved customer service team" other than an automated email when i sent in the request on 3/1 at 12:20am cst. Urgh.
Their customer service number listed in Paypal is just a recording that tells you to email them. Customer Service Phone: 718-534-2812 Not sure how companies get away without having an actual contact number. I guess my next step is to track down the owner. I wrote them asking where my code was, and they replied with my old $8 MicroSD code. I then told them that I had used that code to purchase the $5 for $10 deal, anxiously awaiting this reply now..

Guys, if you haven't received anything yet, just initiate a chargeback with your credit card issuer. Get your money back and hit then with the chargeback admin fee. Even if they were to come through with the $10 GC weeks from now, do you really want to subject yourself to another future purchase with these clowns, all for a measly $5 savings? Take your business elsewhere.

i'll never understand why you guys keep buying stuff from these guys.
they're known rip off artists, along with 1saleaday and shnoop. they send in schills to promote their deals all the time. SD promotes their deals b/c they advertise here in the banner ads but just b/c it's FP doesn't mean it's reputable. I will continue to flame on abusers and killers of deals.

They claimed it was fixed, its not. Just back and forth. The current information is that it should work, but if it doesn't, to email them after I order and they will refund me the amount of the gift card. But seeing how sales doesn't respond all that quickly, nor can the get a simple coupon code to work, I really don't have much faith in forking over even more money to get screwed yet again. I think I'd have a bit more faith in their sales folks, if they actually created cases and listed case numbers when you emailed them about a specific issue, like just about any other company. |

I finally got this nightmare all sorted. I had to place the order, then email customer support, go back and forth a few times, then they issued me a refund for the order. I got my stuff, and unsubscribed from the hellish nightmare otherwise known as dailysteals.
Their customer service still doesn't use any sort of ticketing system to track any issues you email in, so each time you email, you get a different support rep who has no idea what is going on, then you respond (to their one email address) and another rep gets the email and attempts to respond. It's basically just a giant clusterf*ck of a company. If you want to chance your money or your free time, go for it. I had 3 great transactions before going into this hellish, half thought up nightmare. Anywho, resolved for me, if you are still waiting or have a code that doesn't work, email them...oh and good luck. |
