avsforum.com has all the answers. There's something about the Sony vs Samsung, its personal preference but the Samsungs color looks "artificial" to some, while others like the 'POP.
I have a Sony 60nx810, paid near 4k for it last year. Yes the 3d is nice for the 2 DVD's, a couple of video games but there really is not much content out there. Since I bought it last November A total of 2 3-d broadcasts have ocured and my cable box didn't suport it...

I'd get the NX from Fry's for a few hundred cheaper if you have a Fry's around. Even though this is an HX, it doesn't have the monolithic design that looks so good on the NX and the HX8 series televisions.

I have the Samsung too (wall mounted) and even after exchanging twice, I've come to realize that most of the edge lit samsungs have some degree of clouding and flashlighting which really bother me... I know with the microdimming in the edge lit samsungs does minimize this but you sacrifice much of the quality that makes samsungs really pop. I did read about similar issues with the Sony on avs forum but it really is on a different level and I can't tell at all. Plus this tv basically has the guts/features of the flagship hx929, minus the full lit led. At the right price, this TV is hard to pass up but again, I think this price is not much of a deal especially to take a gamble from TD IMO.

Your are correct, it is 46 inches, Sony KDL46NX720 BRAVIA, but at this moment no coupons are working, My question is from where you get the coupon code for tiger direct?
