Just want to post my rebate experiences:

1 $26 rebate - received after 4 months
1 $20 rebate - never received, it's been 7 months now. Probably not going to get the check since it's been so long.

I recieved my rebate $26 less than 2 months. G-oil also send me another Mail in Rebate form. I was just too busy to buy another G-oil. I can confirmed, their MIR is fast and reliable.

I will admit each of my rebate check deliveries have gotten longer - 1st was within 3 weeks; second just over a month; but like I said the last was 2 months; but I always did receive them.

I don't doubt it, it seems that everyone that submitted the $26 rebate has gotten it back, some just took longer than others. They included another sheet of rebates with that $26 check - and some stickers. I used the $20 rebate off of that sheet, and that's the one I didn't get back. So I think it's good to go for the $26 one, but I urge a bit of caution with the $20 one if they still give out those rebate forms with the $26 check. I could just be the oddball here, it's very possible.

Nevermind... i just checked the status of the $20 one, "Your check was mailed on 2/10/2012. Please allow approximately two weeks for delivery."

yeah it's been more than half a year, but I should get it in the mail soon.

I've been using mobil 1 synthetic in my car. Would there be any disadvantages in switching over to a different brand? and back forth?

Not working for me. The emails just link you back to the sign up page. It is an endless loop and no rebate appears.
