Being a libertarian basically means that the power should go to every individual, in respect to the general population. So no, there is nothing nihilistic about libertarianism. On the contrary, it is recentering the society on the individual we are all and not building it around group's or communities interests ! This is why, in my sense, we are lacking a facebook-like way for individuals to get together and protect each individual liberties, but together !

No loyalty when the US just becomes a place to suck the locals dry for education and make money, a colonial outpost for the world's cultural groups.
The dissolution of a country via open borders, diversity promotion, multiculturalism, moral and cultural relativism (value and culture neutral state). The polls were not skewed, biased, oversampled or wrong. I was. There was no wave, no landslide, I was wrong about that too. Nate Silver is the gold standard of polling analysis.

(when people say 'fancy prep school' I typically assume they paid for private education, rather than government funded schools) As someone who uses the product (occasionally) he helped create, I'm more concerned that we live in a country that drives out innovators and successful people because we try to suck them dry. |

http://mises.org/hoppeintro.asp http://www.youtube.com/watch?feat...UL764U5-h4 Science is much more than a body of knowledge. It is a way of thinking. This is central to its success. Science invites us to let the facts in, even when they don’t conform to our preconceptions.

The “vice of specialization” entails the denial of intellect. “It is a denial because it rests on the superstition that understanding is identical with professional skill. The universal formula is: ‘You cannot understand or appreciate my art (science) (trade) unless you practice it.’ ” - Jacques Barzun |
