I am a crime drama buff (it's pretty much all that I watch on TV) and a few years ago, I just totally fell for Bones. Not even sure why - just love their dynamics. Anyhow - I need to watch the newest episode that just aired. I'm so glad they are back.

Wow! If the cat had been on me when the hot soup spilled the cat would have gone flying as I jumped up. I sometimes don't want to move a sleeping kitty that is on my lap or something, but if I am getting hurt.......cat has got to go. And I love and spoil my kitties. Often DH or I will ask the other to go to the kitchen for a drink or something because we have a cat in our lap and don't want to disturb it. But letting yourself get burned. No way!! And I would like to think that my cat wouldn't want me to get hurt rather than disturb her......but she probably wouldn't care as long as I wasn't too hurt to feed her.

I am right there with you. I have to sort and I hate to clip even more. Almost every time I am getting ready to so to the store and I am sitting there clipping, I say, "oh, I remember the days when I could just run out the door. I hate cutting out coupons." DH will say then just go. But I can't.....so I just clip and complain.

You are so right about that sound. If anyone breaks in my house, they will probably hear that sound and go right back out. Racking a shotgun is an awesome sound. DH can do it with one hand just like on tv, but its too heavy for me. I am a little bit jealous of that. I did try to do it and just looked like I was having a spasm or something.

I just made Easter bags for my the RA employees. Yay! Got rid of a lot of candy. Now I need to collect candy for DH to take to work. He took about 30 packs of gum and a box of Snickers Eggs to work today. I am down to less than 3 boxes of Snickers Eggs. Good thing I have more coupons.

I called my friend earlier while Xan was sitting on my lap and sang her this little ditty (sung to (I've got the Whole World in My Hands"):

He does weight 17.5 lbs!!! He was happy as a clam and sat on my lap all stretched out for the entire episode of Blue Bloods.

I forgot to post this earlier. I was able to print my VVs today so I printed the one for Periobalance and returned to the store I bought it at on Tuesday. I went to take them out of the bags and thought I'd check for in-box coupons. The first box had been opened and there was no coupon in it. Not sure if it was removed or had none. The second box was still sealed and I found the coupon. However, I noticed that the first box had 4 sections of the lozenges and the second only 3. So I look at the box and one has 28 and the other 30. My first thought is that I bought two different products but UPCs were identical and they were on the two receipts listed as 28.counts. So I look closer and the box that had been opened was expired from October 2011. So, did someone return an open box or was their stock work that poor that having only 2 boxes, they didn't remove this one for almost 6 months? There was obviously no freshness coupon on it or I'd have noticed sooner. They took it back and damaged it out I got the whole $19.99 back. I had used the $5 IP and got the savingstar (which I hope isn't reversed) so it became a MM without having to resell it but I'm still dumbfounded by what I expect happened. Even if it wasn't a return, the nerve to open a box, ripping it where the sticker was and put it back. Bad enough the PF peelies are all gone as were the Simply Saline TMF rebates (baby swabs).

Off to bed. I have a long day planned tomorrow so I may or may not get in. If I don't, have a great Easter everyone and I'll try to be back Sunday. We are doing our Passover dinner tonight (Saturday) so I'll probably be out late, washing dishes!

Kitties are fed, and I'm glad to report that DeeDee, who had kittens on Sunday, has been showing up every night when I call her to get a good serving of canned food, and she seems to be lactating well. Idgit came home today so I couldn't wander around his property looking for the kittens.

I need to start a beef stew in the crockpot for tomorrow's dinner, since I won't be here. I'll leave it in the fridge and ask sis to turn it on in the morning. Then I'm done with chores for the night.

Thinking I'll head for bed. I might see if my HPTP will connect to SD. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Seems like it's all about whatever software upgrade they've done. (I leave it on so it updates automatically.) Maybe I'll even fire up the netbook -- it's been a while since I've used it and it probably needs a good charging.

I washed my bedding and hung it out on the line, and washed and conditioned my hair, so I'm all clean and shiny and getting into a fresh bed!

For those who might wonder about the existence of that gas station I mentioned yesterday, I found a Google Maps photo of one in Billings MT. I know there was one in Great Falls but it didn't pop up on my search, so either it's listed differently or that one has changed. I knew I fueled up at one last time I drove through Billings.

I'm that kitty mommy is doing well. Sorry the idgit came home and you didn't get to find the kitties. Maybe mama will bring them to you when they are a little older.

I love the fresh sheet combined with a clean and shiny body/hair combo. Which reminds me that I need to change my sheets. It always backs up laundry for days because I have a small apartment washing machine and a king size bed. (I have a large capacity washer in the garage, but these apartments wouldn't remove their washer and dryer so we could put ours in. Its nice to put wear and tear on their equipment instead of mine, but really irritating when I need to wash king size sheets and comforters.)

When does/did the Bones episode about the EC'er dying come on?

Sometimes DH & I will try to use the cat (or sometimes dog) sitting with us as a good excuse for the other person to get up to do something (like who's turn is it to let my bratty dog in/out of the house). There's a ranking order. Annie, who spends more time on us than the others (who is, in fact, right now on my lap with her chin resting on my left hand- it was on the warm spot on my laptop but when I try to push her off to actually type something, she just winds up on my hand. It does not make for easy typing. ) anyway, if we both have an animal, Annie gets moved as she spends lots of time on us and adjust well. Wilson (dog)is usually close by, so he gets moved pretty often. My older dog Veronica does not often snuggle, though since we changed her meds, she's been pretty sweet, so we try not to disturb her and if Gabby (my old cat) is laying quietly next to me (very rarely ON me) DH will get up as the old cat is cranky and easily miffed, so he gets moved last. If I spill something though, they all get moved. I do try not to fling anybody though.

This afternoon, I was working on the taxes and was taking up the whole couch. I didn't get them finished before dinner, so I had papers on the couch for quite a while. It was like I had a freakin' parade of animals trying to claim their spots, and they got worse after dinner. I removed both cats a couple times and had to head off both dogs from time to time. They are all so spoiled.

I just did them both, but I messed up. I thought both the USB charger and the military one were $25. Luckily, I did a $50 trans at Kmart that I was planning using for my parents...so I had one to use. Whew!

Speaking of spoons--is today the last day for the JF deal with the Nipsy q's which I have yet to attempt to load through FF, IE didn't work. I know there was a barney here somehwere, but I wasn't sure if that was a monthly. I'm hoping to find bath salts today, but the 3 stores I went to looked wiped clean and I'm not even sure the pillaging started this week. Perhaps people just picked up the stuff because it was cheap.

I'm not sure when the $10/$25 gas one is. I need to check on that and make sure I mailed it or see if it still needs to go. Do you have the date on that one?

Sounds like I missed a lot of fun at KMart. No Ziplocs or P&G for me, but there's only one that's in my occasional path and it wasn't worth a special trip.

My old cat (he's 18) sleeps so hard these days, he freaks me out all the time. I just ate a Ritz Crackerful, and I know he really likes the cheese-stuff in the middle (and tends to wake up just after it's all gone, and he thinks I still have some so he starts hollering at me for a bite...). Anyway, he's curled up sleeping in DH's chair, so I took his bite over to him, and touched the cheese to his nose. Nothing. I did it a couple more times. Nothing. I touched his whiskers, nothing. I even touched his head with my hand and he didn't wake up until I touched him AND said his name.

LIO sent me a very sweet pm when she rec'd the envie I sent her and one thing she mentioned was how amazing I sent her something for Easter before Easter. Mom was impressed too, but as LIO and others will see I still can't get myself together on rebates, but I still have hope that when I catch up I will do them much quicker. I just have so many piled up here and it's ridiculous to not just do them and get the money back.
