RITE AID CHAT THREAD

This thread is being created for us to come and talk/chat. The Rite Aid Deals thread is for the deal talk. So hopefully this thread will help decrease the off topic chatter in the deals thread and we all have a place to chat with each other. nod

Wanted to add that this chat group will follow the same rules of the Lounge. Rules are located here: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=1091306

My kitty used to hang out under a low table when we had storms or he got spooked. Sometimes he would slither into a corner of my closet. I guess he felt safer when he was in a small closed off space. I miss my kitty. Frown
(((hugs)))

We had a cat (Spot) that feared people & most other cats. She spent most of her time hiding under beds. We had a really loud thunder storm one day and Spot was so frightened that she ran down stairs to hide under a chair near me. I took it as a sign that she felt I could protect her.

Spot is the little black cat in front. She became more bold & would hang out with the two torties

My bargain of the night was a Palmer hollow chocolate Peter Rabbit at Aldi. No messing around with % off; they just marked ALL their Easter candy 50 cents. Peter no longer has ears.
Really? I have got to get there

Your reps count, but no reps count for points if given to a post in a chat thread. Frown So if someone shares valuable information you have to find a post in a non-chat thread to rep if yo want them to get points.

Good luck on the garage sale.

I have successfully loaded the Maybelline and Colgate Nipsy's to my card, I think. How can I sign out and do Mom's? Do I need to do stealth browsing because I can't seem to get rid of my Wellness #.
Some others already answered you but it's easiest to go to the last tab on the right when you're on the Alex screen, and change the Wellness #. It will "remember" that one until you change it again. I didn't realize it was that easy and feel like a big dodohead...

I just got 20 MQs in the mail today for the carefree/stayfree deal. I hate paying for them & thought the stayfree was $2/1, not $2/2...gah! Promised my MIL I would buy her Olay total effects moisturizer she loves, but think it is a better deal starting sunday...but loaded the stupid olay QR tonight before reading it expires in 48hrs - double gah!
It is late & I am tired so please excuse my whine. Wink Gonna go to bed & hope I can figure this all out in the morning.

Have missed you all...lots to catch up on tomorrow!
Someone suggested buying a small Olay to get "rid" of those QRs and that will work, but-if you look at your LTC list, as long as they are not expired, there is an option to "remove" them. I removed my NatureMade ones which were expiring last night at midnight (I think) and then reloaded them. It did let me reload....which it WON"T do if they expire. Will see if it works today or if they went poof.

Gonna give the CoQ first as I know what the total should be if the QRs come off (.49).....if they don't gonna have them removed from order since I certainly don't need them; I don't even know what that vitamin is supposed to do!

Heart health. Not sure exactly how or why but that's what it's supposed to be good for.

Gorgeous area! I'm so sad, dh and I haven't gone on a grown-up vacation since we brought Lia home from Vietnam. We used to travel every year, San Francisco or New Orleans or NYC or Europe. All we've done in the past 10 years is 2 trips to Disney. Frown

Quoting myself...just checked my LTC coupons and even though it let me "remove" the NatureMade before they expired and reload them...they are NOT on the card this morning and ARE in the expired category. Booooooo..

So apparently the "unload" feature does NOT work...you have to actually get the QRs to come off in order to reload them. Mad

Good morning, all! Been super busy at work of late. Lots of projects, extra office hours as we near the end of the semester, and, oh yeah, needed to put together my documentation that says I'm good enough for them to renew my contract. No stress there.

RA Stuff:

Have spun the QR roulette wheel a few times. Colgate and Simple have come off sometimes. No rhyme or reason that I can figure. M didn't come off at all in three different attempts and once 4 came off. I have pretty much give up on M since all I was trying to do was make some milk money. Losing UPs and paying tax is not a successful strategy. Will keep trying the simple bc I would like to finish that one for the UPs.

I saw on the news that there was a very rare tornado in Stockton (I'm guessing earlier today?).

Here, we're not having a thunderstorm, but my thunder hating dog thinks we are. They're doing some exercise at the base tonight and the sounds of the big guns travels to where we live. I want to say it's Howitzers, but I don't know for sure. DH did mention that they'd be blowing up stuff soon, but I had forgotten about it until the booming started a couple hours ago. I turned on the dryer for my poor dog, that seems to have calmed her. She gets so nervous- living in Colorado was hard on her sometimes with all the thunder & lightning- but she got to where she would head for the laundry room when a storm rolled in. I'll throw a blanket on the floor for her & run the dryer. One summer, my couch pillows got fluffed at least once a week.nod
Poor doggy and yes thunder/lightening was very frequent in Colorado! Here we might get thunder once or maybe twice a year so it is kind of surprising when it happens. And usually it is not this loud-it shook the house a little bit! EEK! and then because of the rare tornado up north it gets you worried about that! They said they saw some rotational clouds, but not strong enough to produce a tornado.

No we are south of there. We live about an hour north of Santa Barbara near Vandenberg AFB.
Thankfully we still have electricity-I have heard part of neighborhood does not! We had another thunderstorm go through for last hour so I am glad I don't have to go to work! I am tired since my sleep was interrupted a couple of times last night!
