Be careful buying Panasonic, you have to hope to god that it won't have any issue.
If it does their customer service is horrible. Since my bad experience with their service, I would never buy Panasonic again no matter how attractive the price is. You can search online and there is a lot of complains about their customer service. |

Unless the item has a "REFURB" sticker or label on it, or the box, manf. treats it like new so 1yr, and then use a credit card that doubles the warranty.
With these lower prices and GH3 on the horizon, maybe i'll find a cheap GH1 again (kinda regret selling mine that i got with kit lens for $375). |

Then on 2/7,someone (He didn't even leave his name on the voice mail) from exchanged center saying UPS declined my claim which I knew and agreed with. He said he sent me a label to let me ship the unit back so that they can fix the scratch on the camera. I called back right away because my camera is still in Panasonic and they can track that with my case number with the UPS tracking#. I got confused with the voice mail, so I called back and asked. A person called Joe Martinez said that must be his assistant called me and left me the message and he told me he would have him called me back the next day in the morning. No call received the next day. So I waited till the Label came on 2/10. I tried to call customer service, the representative said there is no record on my case but he put some notes on my case. On 2/13, I called the exchange center and asked them why they were asking me to ship my camera which it's already in Panasonic. The representative was rude that day, I gave him my UPS tracking# to show him that my camera is still in Panasonic, he said there was no record in the tracking#. When you clicked on Shipment Progress, it showed every detail about the tracking and he said he didn't see it. He said they didn't have my camera. I explained to him again and again, he kept asking me who called me. How did I know? He didn't even leave his name!! All I could find on the shipping label is said " Bring to David"! I told him to let me talk to David. He said that's not him. Then I said let me talk to someone who can help me with, he said he didn't know who. I begged him and asked where my camera was now? He told me just ignored the label. All I wanted to know is where is my camera now? Is this how Panasonic treat their customers??? At last, he said he needed to do some research on my case and will call me back. Until today, no call received. I was so so so so so disappointed with this. This is my first time complain about a company and that's Panasonic. |
