Free 1 year membership to coupons.com DEAD

My first deal post!

Saw a banner ad on for a free 1 year membership to Coupons.com. I've seen 30 day trials before but this is for a full year and it normally runs $30. I've been waiting to join, trying to decide if it was worth the $, but it's finally a price I can afford!

They rotate the offers you can get each month but usually some top brands.

but requires CC and agree to auto-charge $30 at end of year,

sorry, should have explained! You get exclusive access to certain high value printable coupons (like right now they have 3 Muskateers, Brawny towels, lean cuisine). Usually they have some that are higher $ off than the regular ones, and some others that you can't find on their site at all outside of the club. At $30 you have to print a lot of extra coupons to make it worthwhile which is why I wasn't sure before whether it was worth it.

When I joined for free in Feb. 2012, you could not cancel auto renew. I added a reminder in Outlook so I'll remember to cancel it in Feb. 2013. I also used a ShopSafe credit card number so there is no way they can charge me.

that's funny I use Outlook reminders too to remember to cancel, hasn't failed me yet!

stupid auto-renew....they WANT you to forget!! it's a sham!
