I received from Amazon, spent around 1 hour to set up with Google voice, and old Panasonic DECT phone.
No instruction included, but someone posted through and easy to follow installation/setup procedure using Google Voice, How to: Use Google Voice with OBi [voxilla.com] No problem making calls from old wireless phone, no problem receiving calls to a telephone number assigned to me at no charge by Google some years ago. I never found use for this Google phone number until now. I think Skype does same, but I believe they charge high price for a dedicated phone number. It works flawlessly, can't tell if I'm using a landlines or VoIP. I'd buy again even if there is no $10 discount. Last edited by heyya1961; 02-24-2012 at 11:41 PM.. |

been using Obihi for a while. Very good stuff, but can't call some 1-866 toll free numbers I needed for conference call. I can access those with regular phones.
