Generally less expensive ( compared to vitamin 5200), I think the jar (wildside) is more versatile, wife likes the press it and leave it buttons. Honestly they are both quality machines, I just found a better deal for the Blendtec and jumped on it. Haven't regretted it at all.

Wow, this is the lowest price I've ever seen on a new unit. This comes very close to the best deal ever:

Currently google shopping is showing $400 for the same unit with a basic jar. This one has the wildside jar which is worth $50 extra.

So basically you're saving $120 off regular price. Very good deal if you're in the market for a solid blender!

If I hadn't got the refurbished commercial unit from the previous deal, I'd get this in a heartbeat. TU & Rep.

Costco is still $399 for blendtec w/ both the wildside and fourside jars. sure you don't get the spatula, but it's just a normal spatula. also, Costco has a longer warranty, and forever returns.

If you want 2 jars, which cost about $100/ea, then costco deal is better IMO since you get the unlimited return and longer warranty.

If you're looking for straight up cost, then this would be better. depends on what you want to prioritize though.

I love my blendtec, makes great raw vegetable soup, smoothies, breakfast shakes, etc.
