If Market gives you "XXXX App" could not be downloaded because of an error. (-101)
Do this:

1) Go to Settings > Apps > ALL > Market. Click Force Stop. Click Clear Data (say yes to any prompts). Click clear cache.

2) Reboot.

3) Try to open market again. Agree to terms.

I started to be happy with my tablets and suddenly one of them started doing a weird noise and reboot. This time passed the first page and when i clicked the button to go to apps, it reboot again. At last I only got the android icon in my display. I contacted MCBub who send me the following email in case you are interested:

Firmware 2.3.4 Download

Since 4.0 seems to be a little sluggish and buggy, you can downgrade to 2.3.4. http://en.ployer.cn/Downdetail.asp?ID=58

I bought one. It may not have the best specs...but it has ICS and it's cheap. Repped for posting video of the product.
Pretty much the reason I bought as well.
Wait until you see how thin and sexy it is....you're going to be really pleased with how sleek it looks.
The only thing that it doesn't have that I would have liked is last time I ordered from them I got a free screen protector thrown in and the time before then, I got a free 4GB MicroSD card as part of the deal.......but now I'm just being nit-picky.
Honestly, I don't really care that I paid $30 more for mine, because it's a solid product.
I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Well made.

thanks for the info and video. this seems like a quality device, especially for the money. Just wondering if the seller is reputable, and whether if the price is the lowest for this device available? Is it shipped from China?
Furthermore: it says 3G--can it take GSM sim cards and use available 3G networks from ATT or Tmobile? Thanks.

I would jump all over this, but the tablet I bought from mcbub in july 2011 is still going strong. Survived 6 months of toddler abuse so far!

Probably 5,000 people on Slickdeals have purchased from McBub in the past year.
Here are a few threads on other deals:

Lots of people came back and mostly had positive things to say about the service and the shipping speed, not to mention loving the tablet.

3G means that it will take an external USB SIM card dongle.
At least, there's nowhere that I can see to put a SIM card in mine, but I wouldn't know because I use WiFi for mine only.
It definitely ships from China, but they do have a USA site, so I would not know for sure.
Either way, it says it will be at your door in 5 business days or less and I usually get mine in California 3 days later.
Whoever they bribe to expedite their shipping is earning their money. nod

I feel the same way.....my tablet has Android 2.3 and cannot be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, I feel like I'm watching the damn world go by and I'm stuck on pause!! It's stupid that they even sell things with 2.2 and 2.3 on them anymore because 4.0 is obviously a hundred times better. My girlfriend
has ICS on her phone with CyanogenMod9 and it rocks.

No.
I own the tablet.

It 100% has the real Android Market and I'm putting up a video so that people can see why I dig it.

The video shows the Real Market.

I post deals on what I buy, because I put my money where my mouth is.
If it's garbage, then I don't bother wasting people's time.
Thanks for taking the time to post and offer your feedback.

One question... It seems to be only lacking one thing....Bluetooth. Can you confirm this doesn't have bluetooth?
I am a big fan of the app Torque and I'd like the option to add a wireless keyboard or headphones so no Bluetooth would be a killer for me.

I can't knock it for the price and specs, but for those that are Bluetooth fans they might reevaluate how important the feature is... or wait for another deal with Bluetooth.

speaking of which, can modded roms run on this thing? like cyanogenmod? the upgrade woes of android devices have no end, unless it can be modded.

I love Torque as well, but I use it with my phone.
Not sure why you'd want to drag the tablet around just for Torque, lol....

BUT, it's definitely a great app. One of my favorites.
They sell a USB version of the CAN-BUS thing that you can just plug right into anything without bluetooth, if you're determined to carry your tablet with you for the Torque app.

Outside of that, I haven't really found any good reason to use bluetooth on tablets other than for looking good on a spec sheet.
If I only had a bluetooth keyboard, I might change my mind, but I use a leather case / keyboard with mine that I bought for the AiShuo A816 that bit the dust.

Excellent question....I hadn't quite gotten that far, BUT - I just checked Root Checker Pro and it says the device is fully rooted and has BusyBox installed....so it seems like it might be a candidate.

It's actually a Cortex A8 with a Mali 400 GPU. The chip architecture has been around for 3 years:

No 1024*600 resolution? Seems like a good tablet tho. Evo-IC, can you compare this tablet with the Ainol Elf? Deciding on picking one of the two up.
