Looking for some guns

I think I'm actually going to get this [midwayusa.com], seeing as how I'll (I hope) already have a complete lower. I did notice that there's no rear sight included so I'll have to factor that $50-100 in as well. (Though for the life of me I don't get the functional difference between an A2 and an A3 upper there.) Also, the initial parts kit I linked in my earlier post is for a rifle-length gas system paired with a 16" barrel, which may or may not be to your tastes (they had carbine and mid length gas system variants for the same price last I checked, though).

EDIT: While I'm at it... the uppers I'm looking at mention coming with a "front sight post" - I take it all I'd have to do is slap on a MBUS (or similar) rear sight and align the two? Or would there be more work/cost involved (e.g. a separate front sight as well)?
