Is this compatible with the HL-2280DW?

These cartridges say they print the same amount of pages at 5% coverage as the high capacity catridges found on their website. The only difference with the high cap cartridge is no free shipping and a $0.50 more per cartridge than OP's deal.

I used the tape trick on our starter toner and it has still been printing fine after nearly 500 pages.

The only downside to my brother 2170W is the wireless crapped out about 6 months into buying it. Since I got the refurb on staples.com it only came with a 30 day warranty...thinking about trying to find another brother printer that uses the same toner as I love the laser printer over inkjet.

1) Last batch of 4 TN-450 cartridges I bought from mwave were all defective. The toner would just pour out of them.

2) No longer buy anything from mwave, as I believe they were the one who leaked my credit card information when two of my accounts got jacked last fall.

I'm not sure if you can use the tape trick on these generics. On the authentic brother toners there are those "eyes" you can put dark tape over but on these generics I can't find anything that is similar although their is a hole on one side I guess I could try taping.

Regardless I haven't gotten a bad generic yet. Lots of print life in these and for the money it cant be beat

These generics definitely save a lot of money... get good print life out of them too. Can't really complain because they are pretty cheap and decent quality.

Hmmm... thanks yeah i've been reading a lot about these after market toners i think ill just stick with brothers... real brand..
