This is worth a try. I never knew it included games...that is definitely a bonus over netflix.

The previous one was open to anyone, I signed up for it without a problem. I went into my local store to exchange, and found the store was going out of business, and would not exchange....but they did have a promo to sign you up for 3 free months.

Gave it a try, picked 7 games under new releases to add to my account, all 7 are either not available (long wait or very long for 6 of them) or not actually released yet (and yet it's a new release) cancelled account 7 minutes after signing up. they will apparently keep sending me games (if any come in stock) until the end of my free month. nifty. let's see if I get a single disc.

Have to second on getting any decent games being just about impossible. I decided that the redbox across the street and my netflix streaming account were fine for movies and I can buy a game for the 15-17 bucks a month it cost for this.

He must be located where they closed all the Blockbuster locations.... It is sad to see Blockbuster failing to capitalize on Netflix's poor customer service..

The game selection and the extremely long wait sucks. I got maybe 4 or 5 games since I joined a year ago. One was cracked and I didn't notice. Luckily it didn't get stuck in my PS3 or ruin anything. I have given up on the games. It's still worth a shot but just don't expect to get any game that is less then a year old.

Well, I have a 5 year old, so we aren't going to need any mainstream expensive games. Just things like Mario Kart type games...hopefully they will have these in stock.

The whole "no Dish membership required" threw me off. I thought Blockbuster has started offering their streaming service to everyone. Their regular 1 month trial for movies and games has never required a Dish membership before to my knowledge. Their streaming service requires a Dish membership though.
