ASUS VS247H-P 23.6" 2ms LED Backlight Monitor 1080p $159.99 F/S

How is this for deskmount stands from monoprice? I have a Dell u2311h (or something like that) and 2 old Dell 19" 4:3 LCDs and thinking of upgrading, but this e-IPS is pretty snazzy with the USB ports on it. Also displayport is quite nice... hmm

I should be receiving mine today via UPS. Apparently, signature was required for delivery so I missed it yesterday... doh.

Got both of mine today, one was perfect, but the other had a dead pixel. Tried several methods to fix it, none worked, so it's going back to Amazon for replacement.

As for the one that does work, I love it - great size, very bright (too bright out of the box), but as many reviews said, the stand is kind of wobbly. Not a deal breaker, especially if you have a solid desk, but it could be an issue if your work area is subject to a lot of movement.

The 23.6" originally for this post price increased back to 189 on amazon. Would the VH236 be a good alternative? It is LCD and not LED but it's 139 after rebate...?

Received my monitor from Newegg yesterday... very nice display. I was able to use my Google Newegg coupon too which made it even cheaper! great find.

I am looking at both of these that you currently have. Both the VS247H-P and VS248H-P. Both of these monitors are on sale and I'm only looking tu buy one monitor. Which of the two should I buy? What one's your favorite? The 247 is $130 and the 248 is $170. Please hurry as they are on sale atm and I need to act fast. Thanks I'm a gamer btw with a really nice rig so I'm looking for a good monitor. Nothing super fancy and expensive though so both of these look great but not sure which one. Would pay both prices.
