Tax implication on Roth IRA dividend vs growth stocks
I've been reading up on Roth IRAs and I have a smattering of different stocks in mine right now. I'm 24 and I just started contributing. My question is about whether I should be investing in high dividend stocks for a Roth because dividends are taxed as income in traditional accounts or whether I should be investing in growth stocks as I'm young and can stand to take some more risk and would benefit more from share price increases than dividends in my IRA.
