I entered my first 10 codes for today, for the opening round!

I did the AMOE and received a free entry. Then I entered 9 black caps and receive 9 entries, to fill my 10-a-day quota of entries.

It was pretty simple. After each code is entered, you go to a page where you pick a region, then you can pick whatever team you think will advance to the next round. I naturally picked a team seeded #1, as no #1 seed has ever lost in the first round. Everybody should, unless the #16 seed is your team!

Then you confirm things. The 10 entries are visible in your "My Account" MCR page under the "Current Sweepstakes" tab. I picked Kentucky, but tomorrow I'll pick another #1 seed.

gullickw, the NOLA code didn't give me a free entry. I didn't see any "WIN" banner," but I forgot to enter it too!

I'd like to save my cap codes for entries when I can and use freebies wherever because in a Coke week, there are only 40 chances to make entries with cap codes because of the 120-point MCR limit. And I only have a limited number of black caps.

Anybody tried white caps from the Polar Bear promo? They were on Coke Zero too.

The code "NOLA" for today was for the instant win portion of the contest. When you look at the rules online there are 2 tabs, one of them for the bracket contest, the other for the IW you can enter this 5 times for an IW entry, it won't give you a bracket entry though.

The code "WIN" is for the bracket contest, just type it in tomorrow like any other code and it will give you an entry. It did for me. I think it is one time use though per person.

Thanks for the NOLA info... This double-stuff is confusing: double rules, double limits, double end and start dates. I thought the Instant Win was when the games were actually on!

I know I have a bunch of Polar Bear caps from Coke Zero, I guess they're out.

There's no need to enter cap codes. I got 10 entries just using the AMOE.

Oh, $#%@! There goes my 10 AMOE picks! Well, they'll probably still win the first game anyway. Like you said, no #1 team has ever lost their first game. And they did go 2 and 1 when he was benched earlier this year, so they can win without him. But they won't go all the way. Grrrrr! Guess I should just stick to football.

Ha! I did, but spread mine around 2-3 each top 5 or so ranked teams.

Also, why are people here saying the bracket and instant win are separate? When I enter each time, it looks to me like I'm entering both. It clearly says I'll be emailed if I've won instantly, and the bracket choice won't be made till the games are run. I've looked to see and can not find a separate instant win entry area. What am I missing?

EDIT: Okay, I think I understand my mistake now. The 'instant win' game is only available on particular days, (March 11th, 12th, 15th-18th, 22nd-25th, 31st, and April 2nd (and limited windows of time on those days)) of which today isn't one.

CBS is offering a NCAA Bracket thing after the late local news, 10:30 pm for me in the central time zone. It lasts 5 minutes.

It's probably in the play-in games too, (for the right to play the first seeds), but I don't have anything but basic cable so things like Tru TV and Espn I have to catch at the local watering hole.
