you are either kidding, trolling, or were thinking it said DDR3 not DDR2 This is a great price! And UNLESS they changed the chips it's been very reliable memory for me! I have it running in two suped' up systems for a long time now, I think I started using them last January 2011. I was thinking the other day (Feb 9th) that it was so reliable that I'd better snag a few more. I bit back when it was $10 more back on the 9th. I totally missed that it hit a even lower price the week later. Guess I should have put a deal alert up for it. EDIT: Although that deal didn't get titled very well.

totally missed it last week being lower. SD search engine isn't the greatest and people don't always name / title things properly. I'm sure I'll find it though. Well if not for the link above I never would have found the old thread. I tried Corsair DDR2, Fry's DDR2, I tried TWIN2X4096-6400C5CG, I tried that truncated. I tried DDR2. SERIOUSLY WTF. People need to use the TAG feature above when they OP a thread!! I added them now to both, but GRRR! I must not have been watching FP's either

Just be patient. Fry's HAS been running these with varying discount/ rebates for a long time. Amazon SOMETIMES has these & Newegg but AFAIK it's been a long time. Last time they all three had these on sale the same week I bought one from each.

P.S. The rebates from Corsair are usually deadlined as postmarked 21 days from purchase (not 30 days) - FYI.

Why would you say it like that. He saw the deal from the FP a few days ago, it looks like a repost or similar; It's not a big deal. Chill I'm sure the mod's explained it too him. Most people, if not for the way that SD is designed to push traffic and make money off that would have considered it a repost and merged the posts. If frys' decides to drop the price by $0.10 then that's a "whole new deal" and could get it's own thread, makes a big mess sometimes. This type of board is not always well suited for linking connecting between posts, products, deals or trends.

How dumb, it's not the rebate, it's only the instructions to the rebate.
