Have a 37" 1080p Sceptre now and it's been great. Better than the 42" LG I had that started having speaker problems 2 months into it. Would buy another Sceptre. Remote from DirecTV HDTV is compatible with it, so that's a plus.
If this got under $200, I might get one.

I'm only interested in the smaller 32 inch sets because I only watch in Standard Definition. How does this set fair with SD channels? I have DishN and zero HD. I was just looking to "flatten" my TV footprint. I took back two $200 32" Dynex BB deals because the SD was awful. My brother has a $500 Sony and his SD channels are nice. It seems to be related to how the TV works with signal compression and rendering. So far from my testing a few SD channels at a local BB, of the 9 or so sets I played with only one or two (a Sony and a Samsung) faired well. It's also very "model specific". One Sony my suck ass and another be sharp as a tack. Higher price does seem to make a difference BUT I haven't come to this conclusion as of yet. LCD (led vs ccfl backlight) vs Plasma I'm sure also are variables to consider.

This has been posted a few times before. It has stayed at this price for a while. LCD is 209, and LED LCD is 219. Ends up about 240 after taxes. Best buy had that Dynex for 200 a few days ago. I am curious about this Visio youre speaking of though.
