I did this deal. U have to sign for free checkings with no min. Balance but u have to do min direct of 250 until u get ur fire and pay 3 bills within 90 days. So im gonna dd 250 pay 3 bills then take money out after each deposit prob no fee for their debit. Great deal. Had great customer service. U will get 1099 on the fire so prob around 50 bucks still great deal part scares me is that terms say can end promotion at any time

If you have to pay taxes anyway, why not just buy the thing outright? (I mean unless you need a new bank). Just curious, this would not be available in my area.

I went in to sign up for my account, and happened to be wearing a shirt with our company logo on it. Turns out Fulton is actually our financial adviser (I should probably know these things), and I was eligible for an account with some little perks.
On top of that, I had a wait a little bit for a computer glitch to clear up, and while I was extremely friendly and patient the whole time, they gave me a gift card for a restaurant down the street as a "sorry" gift. I'm so glad I put off opening an account with a local bank after I moved here! |

Did anybody complete all the prerequisites yet? I just did today and am wondering if I should expect a "congrats, your kindle is on it's way" e-mail or letter... or do I just have to wait 8 weeks?
