Picked one up today in store, Not thrilled by the reviews but 37" 1080P at this price was as cheap as 720P 32" sets. Anyone have any experience with this model?

This TV has been reported to have low input lag and can do 4:4:4 via VGA and HDMI

I am using an earlier model, from several years ago, as a computer monitor and love it. I think I've had it around 5 years, I'd have to break out my archived computer files to find the actual date.

You mean the LVM-37W3se, I use it as my main monitor around 5-6 hours/day and still going strong after all these years, colors are great (better than some LED backlit monitors), no dead pixels or dark spots, the only thing is that the 2 components inputs developed some color saturation problem and I haven't found a solution for it, but those Westies were better built than these newer models.

I was using my DVI input and had the same problem, switched to a DVI/HDMI (now use straight HDMI) cable and it's been fine. Never even checked if it was the monitor, cable, or the video card which was an older X700 BB BF deal that was starting to fail (random artifacting issues that couldn't be fixed by a reboot about six months later now have an ATI 4550 that works fine - this is low power surfing machine). Had completely forgotten about it until your post...

Also forgot to mention sometimes it doesn't go to sleep properly, but that was already documented when I purchased it and hitting the off button doesn't bother me.

Picked up one for my sister. She was looking to spend under $300 so this is perfect. Hope it works out for her.

I just called our local store and checked online and listed at $359.99. What am I missing here?
