We should do a star rating.. like out of 5.
5 - must see in theaters if you can 4 - must rent 3 - watch if free 2 - forgettable 1 - avoid or something Imagine if I had to console, the family of those slayed, I slain on game consoles...

yeah, I like the idea of some sort of rating. I saw The Help too. straight up 1. lol Oh and I'd rather have a hot au pair. |

I'd prefer a n/10 rating system, others aren't granular enough.

I would prefer a points-based rating, with categories including (but not limited to): Explosions, action scenes, gun fights, nudity, profanity, or any other category that makes a movie worth watching.

I saw Act of Valor and yes heard they used live ammo.
But no way did they use it for every scene.. majority of the scenes where people were involved I am sure had dummy fire. Still a pretty cool movie.. glad I got to see it for free a few weeks ago (thanks SD!) |

But just the similarities with having to funny how that all dawned on me at that very moment. edit: wow, i'm pretty sure i got the spoiler tags right but with my SD all farked up I can't tell. in fact, it looks like I didn't input any spoiler tags at all as I can see everything I wrote. I think the story of The Town was actually based of a book, so it's probably more appropriate to call it an "homage" to Heat in the way it was filmed. |
