Much better deal than the Amazon $50AR ATI 6670 DDR3 listed earlier IMHO. Only reason to go with one of those is power supply issues, and the Amazon deals aren't even low profile.

Seeing how there's only 2 reviews on newegg... it seems this particular card wasn't very popular at all and with the new 7xxx series coming out, I'm guessing they finally started to get rid of this...

Good price though... problem for me is if it's worth to buy...

I currently have XFX 4850HD 1GB 256-bit that I got from that special a year or so ago for 47 dollars...

This one is 6770 1GB 128bit...

I've got an older 5850 that will run rings around this card. I'd recommend a 6870 for anyone series at gaming as the lowest ATI card I'd buy at the moment (about 5% faster than the 5850). The 6850 is even slower than the 5850. And if you overclock a 5850, it will still beat a stock 6870.

But, all things being equal, 6870 is best bang for the buck and should be able to run new games like Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 with settings maxed.

BTW, the guy with the 4850 will even spank this 6770 as well. And Diablo 3 recommended card is a 4870 or faster even. ATI numbers became a bit confusing with a lot of 6000 series performing worse than 5000 series. As I said, 6870 is roughly a 5850 at in performance.

not comparable at all... the 5770/6770 has a much better power profile for rigs with sub 400w PSU and for smaller cases without good cooling.. i have a 6950 and would consider this over most other cards for the right application (HTPC, MAME box, etc)

Actually, the 6770 is rated slightly higher than the 4850, unless I'm missing something? No spanking, unless you like that kind of thing...

Just to let anyone know that hasn't read any of the 7770 reviews that came out since that 7770 card is now out; the 7770 is a bit slower than a 6850, costs like $160 which is more, and only has a few good tech advances over the 6850 like a very low idle wattage. But at Anandtech and Tom's both said that they would rather have the 6850 over the 7770.

And yes I know this card is the 6770. Just mentioning that the 7770 isn't leaps and bound better.
