Actually the other laptop is a better laptop, the next version.

There is not a SIGNIFICANT Difference...

The Other laptop has a 560m vs the 460m in this one.
Not a Huge difference, mostly a clock speed bump which you might get via an OC, but I suspect that the 560m is just more mature on the production line which lets it naturally run higher.

This laptop has 2x500gb vs only 1x500gb which is a plus.

Buth support 4x4gb of memory, and this one ships with 2x4 and the other 3x4, so a plus there.

This does have the 2nd year of warranty, which WAS standard with Asus, but they have since dropped their warranties to 1yr. The fact this is an older model is a bonus there.

However, unless I'm missing something, this should actually be cheaper, but are selling at a higher price due to what they initially paid for this.

The other deal is lookng better to me, after reading about a possible delay in the next Intel Chips.

Lukewarm deal;

For $200 more I can have a Sager notebook with a faster CPU and an ATI 6990M (or NV GTX580M). Plus it supports 1866MHz RAM and pretty much any mobile i7 you can buy, up to the 2960 extreme edition.
