Sansui used to be a Japanese manufacture of decent audio equipment, but they now seem to manufacture no TVs but have them made by Orion. Orion, like Funai, is a Japanese company that's long been considered one of lowest end Japanese brands, and both moved their factories out of Japan long ago. Funai reliability is good, but I don't know about Orion.
I can't find anything about Sceptre, and I suspect it's just an importer or, as Olevia used to be, an assembler of TV kits.
I'd test the warranty service before making any purchase. Ask if they actually repair TVs under warranty or just exchange them, and try to determine whether the answers are credible or are simply guesses. Also ask Westinghouse to compare because that company has the worst warranty service and lowest reliability. After you buy either TV, test for bad pixels by hooking it up to a computer and running Nokia's monitor diagnostic to display each primary color individually. Don't accept even a single bad pixel. BTW Nokia's test is old and includes some diagnostics that aren't relevant to LCDs, only to CRTs.
