Springfield Armory XDM 9mm 3.8- $499, 4.5"- $499, 3.8 Cmpt 9mm- $509, 3.8 Cmpt .45acp $529 +$20 Shipping

sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com has some extremely good prices on XDMs right now, the best I have ever seen by far. 4.5" xdms for 499, 3.8 compacts for $509, even the new .45acp compact for only $529.

Shipping was $20 for me, no credit card fees. Members on XDtalk have been ordering with these prices and have experienced no issues. If you were considering an XDM these are the best prices I've seen on them

as far as shipping the gun, (don't make fun of me) I assume I have to talk to a FFL first before I get it shipped to them right?

.40 comes w 11+1 and 16+1 w/ grip extension

Such a tempting tempting deal. Shot the subcomp xd40 a few weeks ago on my bday to try out as a carry gun, recoil was manageable and it's really hard not trying to buy this right now. I'm waiting for a spikes upper to come in stock for my AR and really shouldn't buy more than one big ticket item right now ;(. TU and repped anyway. I'll have to think hard about this one or just sell a bunch of things so I'm allowed to buy this Big Grin

This might be a pretty dumb question, but:

I've got an XDm 40 4.5", are all parts interchangeable between the 3.8 and 4.5 except the barrel, slide and frame? thx

pretty much would like 2 VERY similar pistols for redundancy.

Obviously the slide and barrels are different in length but even though the frames are slightly different i believe you can interchange slides with the frames but don't quote me on that. I do know if you have a .40 you can buy a 9mm conversion and run a 9mm slide on a .40 frame which is nice if you decide to practice w cheaper ammo and feel like a 9 is enough stopping power or your more accurate with.

Ugh... all these gun deals and I really need to find a FFL in my area.

Anyone have any leads on where to find FFL holders?

Edit:

Thank you everyone for all the helpful posts, my googlefu was super weak last time I looked.

Yes. You should probably shop around (for ffls) for the best price too.

ffl finder, gunsamerica, gunbroker. try those sites or Google. After Searching a bit on Google I found a guy who does $25 for rifle, $35 pistol +$2 for NICS, great deal considering most places in Philly charge $40+.
