That sounds too good to be true... wouldn't they just deduct the points once you get them refunded?

Transfer them out before refunding the ticket...Book a ticket for September, October, November, and December (example), get the points, transfer/spend the points, get the ticket refunded.

Recently this card has not been offering any bonus at all, so this is quite a bump if you collect AMEX MR points.

I sold my AMEX points online for 1.5 cents per point. Dont redeem points for gift cards, such a waste.
