Wrong forum.
The constitutions of most of our States and of the United States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of the press. -Thomas Jefferson, June 5, 1824

Watch John Stossels 'Illegal Everything'
just pay attention to the bit about what hoops one has to go through to set up a LEMONADE STAND for heaven's sake !!! They have to attend a 15 hour food safety course, which covers such things as PUFFER FISH POISON....for a LEMONADE STAND...Typical government stupidity of one-size-fits-all regulations. http://www.foxbusiness.com/on-air...index.html
![]() The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism',they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened - Norman Thomas,6-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America The federal government has taken too much tax money from the people, too much authority from the States, and too much liberty with the Constitution - R. It never stops. In the US we are saddled with over a quarter million new government regulations, laws, codes, etc every year.
Locally for example this past year we have a new "Poisoning of Animals" town ordinance (town has about 500 registered voters).....which is being pushed by some Animal Rights groups nationwide. But at least that foolishness was implemented via representative government. The real kicker is in the unelected professional bureacracies passing down regulations, rules, codes, etc. In Europe, they have a new layer of government the Supranational EU, which is mostly a labyrinthine unelected bureaucracy which likewise is piling on the regulations, codes, laws, agreements, rules, etc...on top of what each European Nation State and its localities already have piled and are piling on the individual. Regulating freedom away, one tiny step at a time....multiplied by trillions of times. Last edited by EscapeVelo; 02-29-2012 at 09:28 AM.. The polls were not skewed, biased, oversampled or wrong. I was. There was no wave, no landslide, I was wrong about that too. Nate Silver is the gold standard of polling analysis.
