This looks great if only Cosmo had 9/6 Video Poker...

Might work well with Video Black Jack.

So I'm a noob at this type of promotion, does it means I have to be at a net... loss of $100? Or do I just have to spend $100 dollars?

I.E. I put in 100, won 500, but lost 100 along the way, do I still get the bonus? Or do I have to put in 100 and be at 0 at the end.
you have to lose $100 after deducting all your winnings. (in a day)
meaning, they'll pay for your first $100 loss.
They aren't going to pay you if you play and win money from them and still give you more money just because you don't win every turn.

Tropicana also has this deal, but up to $200. Be aware if you do the Tropicana deal, they will give you have the first day, and half after the first of the following month. Works if you're local or you're on vacation and can do this at the very end of the month.

The Cannery also has something similar, but details are a little scarce and I believe it only applies to locals.

These are good deals - you can maximize variance and try for a large win with "your" portion of the money (the initial $100) by betting bigger on your game of choice. If you lose, minimize your risk by betting in smaller increments. You only have to play through the $100 credit once, so most of them time, you'll end up with somewhere between $90-$100 back from the credit.

I did this promo back in November. If you're willing to gamble $100 on slots, then it's a fun promo as you can take your initial 100 and go to some fun $5 and up slots. The big gotcha in this promo is that your free play money (identity play they call it) is not valid on any progressive slot. I'm not a big slot person, but almost all the ones that I consider fun and worth playing have somekind of progressive jackpot. Gotta stick to the old fashioned ones.
I did make up about half of my original hundred but called it quits due to the horrible drink service!

You make a card. stick 100 bux in any machine. You spin to win. You keep monitor the total amount on your ticket to see if you are above 100 bux. If you are over 100 bux, you gain money so you can quit there. If you go under 100, see if you can get over 100. If you ticket shows 20 bux or less, might as well blow it all by going for large and playing max line and max bet. If you blow it all, go to the card booth and they will pump you another $100 in your card as promo slot points to play. This time around, whatever you win, even a penny, just cash out. Do this until all of your $100 promo play is exhausted. Consider this method as losing less than lets say you lose all $100.

I see this deal as a rebate. If you must lose, you will lose less unless you have a gambling problem and lose that one too so it all on you.

If you want to take part in this promotion, be prepare to lose but the trade off is the fun action to spin them wheels.

With promo play, on the average and more likely, if you give me $100, I will get back $50 and lose the other 50 with the cashing out method. I learned this from these kids at my local indian casinos. They cashed out at all opportunities with promo play and they have stacks of tickets with them. Now the trick is to stick all of them tickets into any machines and cash out just 1 ticket. then Go to a ticket redemption booth machine and get your money.

Why thumb down? Tell me which other vegas promotions are even this good? I'll bank on it too.

For every $100 someone wins, 5 people lose $100... not slick and the numbers are probably greater than that...

In vegas, you pay for entertainment.

If you go to vegas in expecting to win, I'll give you a professional trophy to go with your status.

Best way and mentality in vegas is to gamble with what you can afford to lose. No gambling is how the locals are able to keep a home and live them bright lights at night.

You mean those multi-billion dollar casinos and hotels weren't built by people winning more money than they lose?

this has been around a while.

make sure you lose the $100 before midnight.

i did this back in december. I went through $100 pretty quickly on $1 slots at $3-4 a spin. i did pretty poor over all. only ended up getting about $50-60 back after the $100 of freeplay.

1st time members, only. if you've done a signup promo before, you can't do this. you can only do one signup promo. if there's a $10 signup bonus or similar, don't do that if you want to try this deal.

Yea lol I realized that after I asked, cuz I was wondering how this is a slickdeal unless I guess you're planning to play slots anyways and this is like a 2nd chance dealio.

That might be true in the casinos in general, but I think for this promo, for everyone who walks away down $100 (after the freeplay), 2-4 walk away up $100.

If you stay to play after the freeplay is exhausted, that's your own fault.
