its tough to get side handles aligned
dont tighten top 2 screws in step 2
push chair side ways to the wall to fit 4 screws in on the sides
dont tighten anything till other steps are done
Here is a video for installation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYnLpuN
i tried to follow the installation video but then i couldn't get the (A) screws to go in the holes when trying to apply the base unit of the chair over the metal thing that connects the back to the base. so i decided to follow the manual and install the base unit first. this is what mine looks like.

The warranty on staples brand chairs is freaking amazing. Save your receipts, I stapled (lol) mine to the bottom of my chair. When a part broke I emailed them a copy and they 2 day FedEx'd me the parts.
Tips for installing the arms.
So if the screws are like this
1. Screw #4 half way
2. Screw #3 half way
3. fold the arm to the upright position to use it as leverage.
4. Back the chair up to the wall if you don't have anyone to help you
5. Push on the top of the arm until you can see the hole for #2 lined up
6. Screw #2 all the way
7. Fold the arm down
8. Sit or kneel in the chair facing the back
9. Grab the top middle of the chair and pull it towards you until hole #1 is lined up
10. Screw #1 all the way
11. Tighten up #3 and #4 all the way
This is the way I did it, took about 10 minutes for each arm still so there may be an easier option, but I though this may help anyone struggling with it
If you are doing step 4 before step 3 (like I did), I found that it is easier to switch the Screw A and Screw B on step 3. If you do not switch them, It is a pain in the @$$ when you tried to push screw A (the shorter one) into the hole because it is sitting right on top of the back piece attachment. However, with longer screw (screw B), it is a piece of cake. There are also some spare parts left, including a couple of long screws, so you might want to use them instead of screw A, which is just too short to do the job effectively IMHO.
