Don't forget Chase Freedom rewards mall has 10 extra points per dollar spent at Kohls right now.

Thanks OP. I almost bought the B60 model a few weeks back at around this price.

What are these new Keurig Vue systems you guys speak of? I'm going to have to do some googling.
It's a new system coming out in the fall to replace the "K-Cup" coffee packs with a new version. In theory more customization of your coffee, in reality a new way to make money.

EDIT: Home model coming out soon, commercial model coming out in fall

So far only one model of the Vue brewer appears to have any details listed for it, and it has a retail price of $249.99.

WATERBURY, VT -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. is rolling out the premium Keurig Vue home brewer, which allows consumers to control the strength, size and temperature of their beverages. A commercial model for the away-from-home market will debut this fall.

The premium brewer, intended to draw in high-end cappuccino and latte drinkers, will help Green Mountain manage increased competition as its K-Cup patents are due to expire in September, some observers are saying.

wtf are you talking about? This deal is better pricing and Keurigs new system just rolled out a couple weeks ago. Listen very closely.... IF YOU DON"T NEED THE FARKING THING NOW, WAIT! You made a claim that these will bottom out at $99 retail. Did you mean it or are you just blowing smoke up our asses for the sake of arguing? If you meant it, that means you will see even lower prices with sales, clearance and coupons than what you are paying now. If you were just throwing out a pile of shit to see if it sticks to the wall then move along, your opinion means nothing. Cool
Now that's really unfriendly...here I am trying to save a few bucks and your negativity has ruined my entire night.LMAOLMAO

If the patents are going to expire I suspect we will see quite a few machines and kcups dirt cheap in the coming year.

Hopefully. Prices on k-cups are way too high right now.

I hope they don't stop making k cups since they are introducing new systems in fall.

That is what a lot of people are predicting. Many companies will eventually start selling them and once the dust settles, the prices will be much cheaper and much closer to what they should be selling for.

By that time the new Keurig machine which takes a brand new k-cup will be out. Then you would be giving her a discontinued product for Christmas.
Awesome-- I hadn't thought of that and that pushes me over the fence. You have me convinced! In for 1. She'll love having the older model because that means all the K-cups will be cheaper on clearance. Or, she can just use a reusable filter and then it won't matter if K-cups are even ever sold anywhere again. Thanks!

does it come with reusable filter?

is it possible to get this exchanged for other colors in store after I receive it? I don't think she will let me put this color in her kitchen.
It does not come with a reusable filter. You'll want something like this. [amzn.com] My wife uses one and she loves it because she can use any brand/flavor of coffee she wants. Sometimes K-cups can be limited, especially when looking for decaf in B&M.

edit: looks like there's also a link in post #38 for another kuerig compatible reusable filter that is a little bit cheaper, called an "Eko-Brew". I have never tried that one, but it has a higher review rating than the Kuerig one that I own and posted about above.

The Eko-Brew is much better than the Kuerig version. It allows the water to fully saturate the grounds to extract the most flavor. Get one for your wife and see if she can tell a difference
