These never go on sale. I use them everyday. They are not a placebo as some people have said in previous posts. These are great glasses and at this price a no brainer.

Coupon code FREESHIP for free shipping. It'll give an error saying you need to order $99 or more for the code to work, but it'll work for 1 pair at checkout. If you're buying more than one, you can use couponcodes GUNPENISNARS10 for 10% off.
Coupon Code FREESHIP will shows "Free Ground Shipping" option at checkout.

Alternative (software) option: http://stereopsis.com/flux/

WARNING!!! All GUNNAR Outpost sales are FINAL (no returns or exchanges permitted). I have no idea if this was put up recently or was already there when I placed my order March 4th. I was curious about these glasses and thought why not try it and if its not good then i can simply return it, but alas NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES FOR GUNNAR OUTPOST SALES. Shame really such a shame. I found it uncomfortable to wear especially that refraction of the lenses isn't for me and when i emailed customer service they responded with all sales are final. Guess these pair are going to craigslist. Will continue using FLUX software which i found helps a bit with glare. - GianCCD.

I picked up 4 pairs. I like the Pipeline Onyx Frame. Most professional looking pair I've ever seen. It's not like your'e going to be wearing these in public anyway.

no go for me, i need glasses all the time.

i see you can get rx lenses.... via carl zeiss rx... sounds pricey just to even 'see' if they are worth it.

the site reads like snake oil and made up buzzwords. the technology page is a joke. this all just reads like the monster of 'eyewear' (a necessary evil just called glasses to us blindfolk). the picture of the Tron movie frame is just total BS/marketing gimmick.

i wonder if those blublocker (or HD vision or eagle eyes or whatever) sunglasses produce a similar (if not identical) effect. like you said, noone is going to see you using them Wink http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002FJ3TSY/

edit: WOW i just looked up blublocker and they are all updated and hip too (and expensive)! laugh out loud

wake me up when these are $10 Big Grin wave

For the inevitable "do these work?" crowd:

Yes and no.

No, they aren't some magic gadget to increase your K/D ratio in MW3.

Yes, they do make your monitor easier on your eyes.

I spend 8 hours a day at work staring at a computer screen, then come home, and stare a bit more. I've been doing this for about 7 years now. A year or so ago, I was starting to notice that my eyes would be slightly sore, or feel like they were tired when the rest of me was wide awake. It'd go away on weekends, when I spent more time out of the house and away from screens.

On a whim, I decided to pick a pair of these up off of Amazon. Within a week, my eyes were back to normal. If anything, looking at a monitor without these on almost hurts. Needless to say, I love these things - I just hate the normal price.

It's also worth noting that in addition to the obvious - letting through slightly less light, and adding a yellow tint to everything (really, blocking the blue light), the glasses also add a very slight magnification. Nothing significant, but just enough that I find reading small text to be a lot less strenuous than it was before.

Oh, and also, they're a bitch to keep clean. They're like a magnet for dirt and smudges,

TLBig GrinR - They're nifty.

oh shit. repped. i was about to passout cuz i'm so tired, and my eyes are sore from a long day. not necessarily doing computer work. but wow, f.lux works really well.

fwiw: i gave flux a try and for free, its definitely much better than gunnar for $40. i bought gunnars when they were on sale at $40, and they are just sitting on my computer desk collecting dust. if they are really good at something, it is collecting dust. haha.
