Is it possible to get a discount from T-Mobile on a new account?
Transferring from AT&T, would I be able to get a discount on a new phone that T-Mobile wants $300 with 2 year contract? *Bold 9900
All others want fraction of this, AT&T $50 to $90, Verizon $100, Spring $50 to $150, and T-Mobile is asking $300+tax minus $50 prepaid visa, which I think is absurd, there isn't much savings in the data plan anyway, and all other phones are reasonably priced, but for some reason Bold is very expensive.
I would be interested to hear if T-Mobile would be willing to give reduction when transferring from AT&T. Amazon is not even offering this phone.
And then when you have to cancel, you will have to pay additional ETF, one to carrier and one to 3rd party, in most cases.
So, based on above, if I go with Wirefly, i will not be saving anything since they also want $250 for 9900 on T-Mobile, on top of that I will lock myself into contract with T-Mobile and Wirefly. T-Mobile will charge me around $200 ETF, on top of that Wirefly will charge $400. I would never do that, unless they offered money back.
