Me, too (blue eyes, not blue hair, though). 40 degrees, 98 degrees, I'm happy. If it gets much hotter than that, I'm filled with an almost irresistible urge to go out biking. And for some reason I have a closet full of coats that I never wear. (But they *were* on sale.) No problems with sunlight either.

Not a redhead, but no amount of any local anaesthetic has ever worked entirely on me (and I metabolize pretty much any drug four or more times as fast as the population baseline). Probably a different mutation or something.

I haven't had any dental work done since then. I missed a few cleanings a few years ago due to lack of insurance and they ended up doing a root scaling on me. SAince she knew the novacaine wouldn't work she scheduled it over two appointments. It didn't really bother me and she was able to complete the work in one visit with no meds at all. She said for more serious work we could try sedation (ie gas) but she didn't have high hopes (pun) for that either.

I've also had a few skin lesions removed to be tested for skin cancer. I always though it was weird that I could feel them cutting the moles off but it wasn't that painful so I never said much.

No surgeries other than that ever. I still have my tonsils, appendix and wisdom teeth.

and FTR, I'm blonde and fit all the criteria in the OP.. ( maybe it's a light skin thing as opposed to just redheads..although I have natural red highlights..who knows )

Also was a Dental Assistant for 7 years, never seen a difference with redheads vs. others. My brother has black hair and Novocain doesn't work on him at all, same with my fiance's brother..

That's how it's been for me too. I could feel them tugging the skin but it never hurt. Heck when they were cutting off that big piece of skin from my stomach after the spider bite I was on here posting "OMG he's cutting it off...I can hear it! EWWW!!" (Mostly to try to keep my mind occupied though, lol). I figured it worked well enough though since it didn't hurt.
