I was wondering the same thing...

It says, "RENTAL GRANT PERIOD: 1 day. RENTAL ACTIVE PERIOD: 24 hours"

Lame. I guess after you purchase it, you have to watch it within that day. Weaksauce.

Their site also says, "With most Google Play movie rentals, you have 30 days from the time of purchase to start your movie and 24 hours from the time you begin playback to finish watching (or to watch as many times as you can!).

Though this is true for the majority of Google Play rentals, make sure to pay attention to the Rental grant period and the Rental active period of each movie rental."
