THC content in hemp comes in the glands of the plant itself, not in the seed, and even then, is extremely low compared to MJ. The seeds and oil contain at most trace amounts of THC that rubbed off from the rest of the plant, negligible when it comes to a drug test. That would be with Nutiva makes that claim, instead of specifically measuring it. (it would be a waste of money and effort, and only raise the cost of the product and complicate things needlessly)
Way to stereotype. That's an ignorant statement. Spend a few minutes looking into something before you disregard it carelessly. Whatever information you've been fed (if any) is incorrect. It's exceptionally nutritious, but received a bad rep because of the threat it poses to big, established industries where they get off claiming certain items are 'scarce'. Hemp has a VAST number of uses that could totally change the landscape of a lot of industries and improve our world. (as an aside)
Storage: It is best to keep our seeds refrigerated and air tight. If you purchase a bulk 5-pound bag, consider adding a pound to a container for daily use, and seal up the 5-pound bag and place it in the freezer. This will help protect the seed quality.
My cockatiel used to love hemp seeds, but I used them only as a treat because they were irradiated and not really fit to eat. I thought about buying non-irradiated ones in Canada, but figured it might be hard to explain at the border.
I am guessing these are legal because they are shelled?
