Anybody actually bought one? From this guy. Ebay. CATLEAP Q270. Seller in South Korea.

I own the 27" Planar and have had it for about 6 months. The monitor is great and I love it. Paid $211 for it then.

I just got mine from the last deal today. Have not had a chance to swap out with my 24" Acer yet.

I got this monitor the last time around for around the same price. LOVE IT. It sits on a desk right next to my bed. I'm looking at it as I'm typing this right now. Good deal OP thanks for sharing.

I bought one of the Shimian QH270's. Absolutely awesome. It's replacing my Samsung 27A550 which is probably just like this TN Planar.

Lots of people are buying these Korean Shimian/Catleap monitors. Bit of a risk but high reward. Other sellers are in the fray - think they're $375 for the base model.

you are missing the point. the original deal is for 200 bucks and you suggested an alternative that is twice the price. this person was pointing out that twice the price is not in the same category. if someone is in the market for a 200 dollar monitor they are probably not in the market for a 400 dollar monitor.

What about running a pair of these for dual monitors?

I bought one last time they had these on sale. Mine came with a stuck pixel that goes away after about 30 minutes but comes back at times when that area of the screen is dark/black. Pressing on the screen helps to get rid of it lol. If you get lucky and dont have a stuck pixel like I did, its a great screen. Nice colors and brightness. Very slight bit of light wash at the top of the monitor, not noticeable 98% of the time(could be from me pressing on the screen for the pixel). If anyone has any suggestions on how to remove that stuck pixel for good, I'm all ears. Ive tried the color flashing programs and all that to no avail.

Figure it isn't worth the hassle of the whole thing, I've gotten used to it. But it would be nice if it was gone. Its kind of annoying to have a bright green dot on the screen during dark parts of games and movies.
