Good deal. Same price as Cameta though Adorama does not include a 1 yr warranty.

very good deal. New on Amazon this camera goes for $749. Too bad it doesn't come with a one year warranty.

It's a GREAT camera. I bought mine at Costco (comes with the 18-55mm kit lens + a 50-300mm lens, bag, 4g card) -- you can get it for $1000. I'm very leery w/ refurbished electronics though and even though $569 is a great price, it's still a lot of money to put out for something that isn't brand new, out of the box.

I bought a refurbished (factory demo) D3100 and the shutter count was 84! The D5100 is definitely a step ahead. I'm just gonna add something real quick: Like I said before on the D3100 deal post, the camera is not a new arrival so at least IMHO, its worth taking the refurbished risk to trim considerable $ from the price.

Cameta also offers a free 1 month price protection guarantee from buysafe. I bought this for 620 and got the $50 check from buysafe when the price reduced to 570.

Refur products from a reputable company is as good as new. For a little different - I will pay at costco but for a big different - Refur does not bother me. |

The warranties for refurbished equipments are 90 days (3 months). http://shop.nikonusa.com/store/ni....242455300 I have no problems with refurbished camera, I got a refurbished D3000 3 years ago, and still working fine.
