Staples App Thread

I used a $10 off $75 code (starting with 6240) at the register and on the receipt it had a 8/02/13 expiration date rather than the 3/05/13 it shows in the mobile app.

Okay so the new coupons really have an exp date of 08/02/13 even though it says 2 or 3 days?
Also, has anyone tried a reset of the new app to see which coupon it starts off with a reset?

Shucks could have used a $10 off 75, but didn't know that $10 off 75 could stack with 20% because sometimes it says an item can only be discounted by 1 coupon...I guess this is an exception because 20% appiles to all items in the bag?

See shyam09's running results from resetting of the app daily in the wiki. Martha is always first coupon. Yes, the coupons really have an exp date of 8/2 contrary to what is on the coupon. That verbage about one coupon has been there forever. It only matters what the register will accept if the cashier will scan more than one coupon.

When there's no "check in" option in the app, does that mean it hasn't been long enough since my last check-in or is it a bug?

you may need to select 'My Store' on the first screen and then you should have the check in option on the screen.

Using BlueStacks and not getting a coupon. Was able to check in. Any suggestions?

No idea but I usually power on/off my device and check in reappears. If it has been 24 hours since your last checkin you should get another coupon. Sometimes the we're looking for coupons pops up and other times I have to hit the My Deals button to get the new coupon. In that case if there is a new coupon then it is usually bolded.

This is the first coupon for my laptop. Have not got the first one.

All I need is BlueStacks and FakeGPS? Anything I need to do to laptop?

I'll try uninstall and reinstall Staples App.

AFAIK that is all you need. And of course to set the store location in FAKEGPS. I need to try Bluestacks on my iMAC as it does not work with the old video cards in my laptops.

I think that the $10 off $75 coupon is the third coupon. I think I'll add a column now and reinstall every third day (though I will just make a new table)

I also got the C&P coupon as #2 today. However, when I checked in again some time later, it was nowhere to be found but the 1st MS coupon was again showing up under My Deals. This evening, I tried to check in again and there isn't a single coupon. Mmm..Not understanding how this app works at all.

The reason appears to be that it keeps the app checked-in from your last check-in even if it's been more than 24hrs. Even if you use menu and exit the app that way it still isn't truly exited and remains in Android memory. If you use a task killer (I use Advanced Task Killer Free) you can easily kill it completely and then re-open it and you should have the sign-in option again. Of course power cycling would accomplish this as well, but is slower.

I just got Bluestacks to work this week as did a few other people here. What I found was the key was where I get the staples app from. There were 3 choices. I chose the one on the right, that forced me to sign in via gmail I believe. That did the trick for me and for another person on this thread, who deserves the credit. If it works for other people also, perhaps it should be added to the wiki.

I've now gotten coupons 4 days in a row- Martha, copy/print, 10 off 75, free ream of paper.

I finally got it to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled and got my first coupon.
