I had this pack from a decade ago, it looks like it may have lost many features from back in the day...maybe not. Mine had a removable hydration backpack, a removable fanny pack that also operated as the main cover, but some of the other features (split main compartment, resevoir, compression) have survived. It's a great starter pack, not for 6 months on the Appalachian Trail but for a decent start on backpacking, a few days at a time, it'll do.

$114 shipped on Amazon. I use Osprey packs but this looks like a great starter bag that include a rain cover, bladder, AND a GPS pouch. I had a hell of a time finding a pouch to work for me. Good deal!

The manufacturer is not Kelty.
From Kelty's warranty page: Kelty Pack is not affiliated with “Ridgeway by Kelty” in any way. It is a separate company that in the past had licensed the name for production. As we did not manufacture it, we do not stock parts to repair or maintain this specific “Ridgeway by Kelty” product. |
