OfficeMax has this printer back in stock for $59.99. I originally got one from OfficeMax at this price on Sunday. I then saw this thread and decided to give it a shot this morning. I got my 25 of 75 coupon from urlhasbeenblocked through ejunkie for $1.98 (the one linked in the OP expired a couple days ago).
I ordered the HL-2240 from Staples this morning for $119.99 and had no problem using the 25 off 75 coupon. That brought the total before the price match down to $102.34. I then went straight to Live Chat for the PM. The rep said I'd be getting $64.64 back to my card. One problem though- I used a virtual card # to order. I originally set the limit at $102.00 because during checkout, it said that my total would be $101.39. Well, it turns out that the original checkout/confirmation had the wrong tax amount- it should have been $7.36 instead of $6.41. This caused the CC charge to get declined. I got an automated voicemail from Staples informing me about this. I called the # in the voicemail this afternoon and gave them my real card # (to avoid hassles if I need to return in-store). It went through OK the second time and the rep on the phone said that my PM had been approved. Hopefully changing my card # won't cause any problems with getting the PM refund. I went to OfficeMax tonight and returned the one I got on Sunday. And what do you know... OfficeMax has a clearance sale for 25% off all the demo units of all the printers on display! If the Staples PM falls through, I might grab the demo HL-2240 they had there for $44.99 + tax. |

 . Gonna rep the OP! Staples credited it yesterday. Hopefully they won't charge me the amount of the coupon like they have for a few folks. None of the reps I chatted/spoke with mentioned anything about charging me for the amount of the coupon.
