Don't be fooled thinking this single core can't keep up with the later dual core tablets. The clock speed makes up for it and gives a user experience better than most dual cores. Even Anandtech feels the Flyer is snappier than Tegra 2. Last edited by flenn; 03-12-2012 at 03:31 PM.. |

http://www.xda-developers.com/and...ming-soon/ It depends, I like my TF101 but my GF rather uses her Sensation to browse the web so the 7" is definitely a good tablet for her. I'll be the part-time user if it plays nice.

Can anyone clarify this for me.... Apparently you can accumulate Rakuten Super Points x12 which is only for today. The terms and condition states
"This Buy.com promotion will begin on 3/12/12 at 12:00 AM PST and will end on 3/12/12 at 11:59 PM PST. % Back is awarded in the form of Rakuten Super Points. All Rakuten Super Points earned during this promotion will be available 15 days after shipment and will expire 20 days thereafter. For exact Rakuten Super Point expiration dates, please check your Buy.com Account. This promotion requires customers to Opt-in and complete the checkout process by 11:59 PM PST on 3/12/12. Buy.com will allow customers a maximum of 7 qualifying items and a maximum cash back value of $1,000.00 during this promotion; Buy.com reserves the right to void Rakuten Super Points on orders that do not follow these regulations. Rakuten Super Points are not cash or currency and cannot be transferred, credited to an account, redeemed for cash, or used for gift card purchases or redemptions, see site for terms and conditions. This promotion cannot be combined with any other cash back reward program or Rakuten Super Points promotion." Now for the last part does that mean you can not use any cash back credit card? Also the 10$ off could not be stacked with this? Thank you in advance ! I am still new to SD.

The $10 can be stacked, but you need to be registered as a new customer. I just got mine. $189 + 12x Rakuten points. I was bummed I missed out last time. Last edited by R79; 03-12-2012 at 05:03 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

!Is anyone getting this message at checkout: "Important Message! Note: Your subscription purchase today includes enrollment in CA Automatic Renewal Service. CA will notify you by email prior to the expiration of your current subscription. Do nothing, and then the current subscription renewal price (plus applicable tax) will automatically be charged to your credit card, and you authorize Buy.com Inc., CA's e-commerce partner, to use the contact and billing information you provided for your purchase today to charge each renewal. Your email, bill to name, bill to address, bill to phone number, last four digits of credit card, and credit card expiration will be provided to CA for billing, subscription, and marketing purposes in accordance with CA’s privacy policy. You may discontinue Automatic Renewal Service at any time by updating your profile under My Account or contacting customer care. Your order confirmation email will also include instructions on how to cancel your CA Automatic Renewal Service. CA Automatic Renewal Service is only available for U.S. and Canadian residents." Does this mean they are going to charge an extra fee? Last edited by MissDrPepper; 03-12-2012 at 05:48 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

The best tablet for that price out there without contest. I have both the Flyer and the HTC EVO View (its Sprint clone). I've also had the Dell Streak and experience with other tablets. The Flyer is fast and is my favorite tablet I've ever had and have played with - highly recommend. Single core means nothing here, as this little tablet is still the fastest in the herd (the 1GB of RAM instead of 512mb helps alot).
