Just stopped by CVS (in St. Louis) and saw that they had the Shift3 Light Blast Entertainment projector marked down from $100 to $19.95 clearance. You need to have a CVS card but you can get one free when you checkout.

Checking out other sites it is about 3 our of 5 stars. That seems to be when paying full price. I decided that for $20 for a projector it is well worth the gamble on it not being that great.

Display images up to 120-Inch on walls or ceilings by connecting to video game consoles, TV's, and other components via A/V input. No HDMI.

50W/ 12V halogen light bulb with cooling fan, manual focus lens and built-in audio speaker.
Control panel with A/V inputs, headphone jack, adjustable contrast and brightness, volume control, and power on/off.
Pivoting bracket/ carrying handle for easy picture adjustment.

This was at my local CVS but typically these markdowns are national. If you are concerned then call ahead.

It's $83.99 on Amazon

I have it - it sucks Smilie. But for $20 I'm sure you aren't expecting much. I paid like $50 for it, so a good price. The picture only shows in complete darkness and is not very sharp even the dark.

Anybody have any thoughts on this as an art/stencil/trace projector? I was debating the cheaper artographs but this seems like something that would be a little better for around the same price.

I picked one of these up for movies on the lawn with the neighbor kids. Hooked it up to a portable dvd player and ran an extension cord for power. Looked GREAT for my purpose and can't beat the price!

For twenty bucks I couldn't be happier to be honest. Works fine on my wall ceiling. Gonna bring this to my 3-day trip to Anime Expo to play video games with friends at the hotel.

on the garage door and it looked fine for 7 kids ages 6 and under. there is a volume control on the unit too and it should be loud enough without additional speakers. my neighbor wants to get an inflatable screen but i was thinking even a sheet would be fine or the side of the house.

Can walls be ceilings?

And for ten points name the reference:

"What fool put a carpet on the wall?!"
