Seems like a nice deal. I've been dreaming of an ultrabook (Toshiba Z835 i3 w/ 128gb SSD). It was on sale at BB in December for $699. I held off since I really want an i5.
This seamed like a great trade-off for the price. A little thicket/heavier & no SSD, but with an i5. Still waiting for a $700-800 13.3" ultrabook with an SSD and i5 since this is out of stock. |

I actually tried to cancel it the night after I ordered. The online CSR said it was canceled but I just received an email yesterday stating that a cancel attempt was made but it was too late and had already been shipped with an attached tracking number.... Should I keep it? Any suggestions? |

I got the similar model from amazon (dec/11), i have been getting stuck pixels.. i dont know if its like this for all of them or just mine. the annoying this is that there is no volume adjuster, so you have to use the shortcut key or mouse to change the volume.
and you will not get anywhere near the battery life they say you do.. hope that helps.. |

about 5-6 hrs, give or take... not bad but also isnt the 6hrs. also that is not straight 6hrs of usage.

Sorry to revive old thread but is anyone else having high idle temperatures plus fan coming alive at strange times? I am getting mid 50s degrees Celsius for idle temperatures whereas most laptops idle at late 30s and 40s. Also there's no throttling mechanism in place for the processors. Mines went up to 100 degrees Celsius and it did not shut down...
